The dangers of activating recurring payments

In general, you will not find the settings for recurring payments in your account on individual servers. Since the servers do not directly operate the direct debit, it is not possible to cancel the payment on the server websites. The recurring payment was always activated when you made the payment at the beginning. If you made the payment using a payment gateway, you can cancel this "subscription" only with the payment gateway operator, even if you made the payment using a payment card. You can then cancel such a recurring payment by submitting a request directly on the recipient's website (payment gateway operator) - you can find out the recipient of the payment directly from your bank statement. If you cannot find the recipient or they do not respond, you must disable the payment at your bank. Find out the details at your banking institution. Some banks also require the cancellation of the existing payment card and the issuance of a new one - of course with a fee.
